Famous Chihuahuas
More and more Hollywood stars are carrying around Chihuahua’s more and more as an accessory rather than a pet. The most famous Chihuahua has to be Tinkerbell Hilton, Paris Hilton’s dog; she also has a dog-named Bambi. If you have seen Paris Hilton then you have seen Tinkerbell because she carries them around everywhere. The second most famous Chihuahua in the world is Gidget, the Taco Bell dog who went around saying Yo Quiero Taco Bell.
Chihuahua’s have been in movies and TV and even cartoons. Some movie dogs and TV dogs that have become famous are Bruiser, the dog that Reese Witherspoon carried around in Legally Blonde. E! Television’s The Soup, Joel McHale carries from time to time to promote a story is Lou.
In Puerto Rico, the University School of Medicine’s mascot is Taquito, the cartoon character Ren from Ren and Stimpy, Tito from the animated movie Oliver and Company, Pancho the Chihuahua from the Martin Lawrence movie Big Momma’s House 2 and Coco the pet of the Dog Whisperer’s Cesar Millian.
Cartoons and TV shows are using these dogs more and more because of their growing popularity and for the fact that they are small enough to transport in your arms or your pocket book. These dogs are not a cute dog by any means but they are appealing to many people for some strange reason.
