Grupo salva cavalo em leiria - Vídeo de JPS/Diário de Leiria

Este vídeo foi-me enviado.
Aparentemente, existe um campo em Leiria onde são deixados cavalos a pastar, com alguma frequência.
Desta vez, alguém deixou lá três cavalos mas apenas recolheu dois deles, porque a égua já não tinha utilidade.
O animal ali foi ficando, até que ficou caído no chão, sem se mexer.
Algumas pessoas repararam e agiram.

Infelizmente não sei mais nada.
Mas gostaria de ter novidades - alguém sabe ?

Bom, reconheci um das pessoas, a Sra. D. Maria dos Anjos, presidente da Associação Zoófila de Leiria " Fiéis Amigos". E sei que a égua ficou a cargo da associação Their Voice:

Pelo que percebi no site que indicou, a égua sofre de cólicas por ter passado muito tempo sem comida ou água - não se sabe se vai sobreviver a esta noite.
Espero que corra tudo bem.
Obrigada pela resposta, agora vou continuar a acompanhar no site.

I made a promise to Spirit that for as long as she had the strength to carry on that I would do everything it takes to help her. She had been so strong and wanted to live so I did everything I possible could for her. She had a very bad day yesterday and last night she told me that she had had enough. She was in so much pain that she gave up her fight. The ONLY humane thing to do was to put her to
sleep. We as humans did this to her so it was our duty to her to end her suffering. I can honestly say it was the hardest thing I have ever done but was there will her showing her unconditional love to the end. RIP my angel you will always have a huge peice of my heart. Thank you all for your support and PLEASE if anyone sees a horse suffering dont call when its too late

Spirit left here today. I was shocked to hear that the driver had picked up a horse from Sintra last Wednesday!!! It was abandoned by gypsies....we were told by the vet of Sintra and SEPNA that these horses were safe....another lie from those in power!! Its easier for them to let them die and make a call for someone to pick up the body after. We ALL need to speak up and be THEIR VOICE if anyone see´s a horse, pony or donkey that needs our help PLEASE dont wait til its too late we will ALWAYS try to help.
